Aims of meeting.

This meeting aimed to review the key components of a strategic plan for Aedes Vector Surveillance and control related to WHO guidance and the Framework for National Surveillance and Controls Plans for Aedes in the Pacific

The workshop objectives were to:

the principles and components of the Framework and Manual to guide vector control planning and implementation​

Explore
in more depth some key components for the Framework from a planning perspective​

Share
experiences and lessons learned in implementation of various aspects of the Framework for surveillance and control of vectors

Identify
next steps for each country to finalise or strengthen their vector control plans
