PacMOSSI congratulates the Tonga Ministry of Health on launching the Tonga Mosquito Management Strategic Plan 2026–2030. The Minister for Health, Hon. Dr Siale ʻAkauʻola, launched the Plan on 30 September 2026 in Nukuʻalofa. The launch was part of Tonga’s World Environmental Health Day commemoration, under the theme “Standing with Science to Protect Our Communities“.

The Plan strengthens Tonga’s national approach to mosquito management through better coordination, surveillance, prevention, evidence-based interventions and community engagement. PacMOSSI is proud to have supported the Tonga Ministry of Health in developing the Plan. We look forward to continuing our partnership as it is put into practice, helping to build a healthier, more resilient Tonga.
